Started in 2019, the Iron Wolf Soccer Academy (operating as part of the Liths Soccer Club) accepts members ages three and up. The goal is for academy members to acquire the skills needed for success on the field, and also learn the work ethic, teamwork, and determination needed for success off the field. Plus, they’ll have fun and learn something new!
Even though the Liths Club has ethnic roots no one is excluded from membership in the club or the academy. We believe in diversity and equality while still retaining the historical roots of the club.
Liths Club Mission Statement:
To provide an environment conducive to the development of the whole player through quality training, study, and competition.
Vision Statement:
Liths Soccer Club will endeavor to:
- Develop and prepare our players for the future, both on and off the field.
- Equally, if not more importantly, we reinforce non-soccer specific skills such as communication, teamwork, time management, responsibility, discipline, and respect for all players.
- Believe in the potential of all soccer players and seek to empower them with the self-belief to build confidence from the raising of soccer standards.
- Strive to ensure all soccer players are given a balanced soccer experience and quality instruction.
- Provide a positive environment for all soccer players to participate, enjoy and achieve success.
- Allow all players the opportunity to play soccer. Everybody has the potential to play soccer and we will encourage everyone to recognize and aspire to play soccer.
- Ensure all staff and volunteers work together showing enthusiasm and a professional approach.
- The club will ensure that staff professional development includes soccer management and recognition of a good work ethic. This will help in the personal development program which leads to job satisfaction and achievable career pathways.
- Engage the whole community to be involved with our club development and successes with a variety of effective alliances, partnerships, and networks.
Code of Conduct:
The Liths Soccer Club upholds all the expectations of a properly run sports club and as such has issued written rules of conduct tha all individuals associated with the club are expected to abide by.

The academy operates at the Lithuanian World Center in Lemont. Even though it has roots in Lithuanian culture and society all backgrounds are invited to join the academy.
The Center has a soccer field that is utilized by the academy for training when the weather is not inclement, other times training moves indoors to either one of the gyms within the center or or leases space at Compass Arena in Willowbrook.
The academy stresses the importance of practice and expects all academy students to make a strong commitment to attending training sessions so that each individual develops the the skills needed to be an effective team player.
Those that make the commitment will be rewarded with game time against skilled teams, as such anyone with excessive, unexcused, consecutive missed practices before a scheduled game will not be allowed to play in that game.
The academy has incorporated names that are in line with the academy logo to distingish between the teams that play games . There are four individual groups or teams:
